Diamond Pendants

Nothing looks better than a diamond pendant

Hi I want to know what is the real difference and how is it possible to tell the difference apart from the price does platinum hold its value for years which is the best to buy many thanks

I am not sure about your question, but let’s see if I got it. The item is 1/4 carat diamond in either gold or platinum - is that right?

So, the diamond is the same, it is just the metal that you are concerned with.

Platinum is more expensive and "better" in some people’s minds. It lasts a long time as does gold and is a silvery color. Gold can be different levels of purity - usually 10, 14, 18 or 24 carat. 24 carat gold is pure gold and is very soft. Gold can be either yellow or white in color or even pink or greenish.

I prefer gold because I like the gold (yellow) color. Many people prefer white gold, platinum or even silver.

Get what you like. Either gold or platinum will last a long time.

This pendant was bought for me but i have never worn it and would now like to sell it. The pendant is still for sale in Ernest Jones for £750.00. How much would i get for it?

take it in and ask

or if you want send it off to those places that advertise "money for metal", but be warned, they only offer scrap value

Is a heart shaped diamond pendant cheesie? I am 38 and my Girlfriend is 44. I would like to buy her a Diamond Pendant for a gift. Would a heart shaped pendant be cheesie, we are both working professionals. I would like for her to have something to wear that would remind her of me.
So If there are any other women out there reading this, what do you think?
I’m also open to other gift ideas.

I am 46 and I think that would be a lovely romantic gift .go for it she will love it

that happened to me. i took a saftey pin and good lighting and just pulled at the part that tangled and it eventually came out, u need to be patient though

I just have a regular digital camera and I’m trying to take a good picture of a Diamond Pendant necklace but I can’t get any of the pics to turn out with or without the flash. Any tricks to this?

Gray or black velvet back-drop or similar. Macro mode, none or diminished flash,

Hi,
I have a sterling silver heart and Diamond Pendant that was my Mom’s. I would love to wear it because it is truly beautiful, plus it was my mothers. But I can’t wear sterling silver only real gold 10K is the least I can wear with out it breaking me out. Is there a way I could have it coated or something so that I can wear it.
Thanks much !!!!!!

Hi,
I have the same problem with jewelry metals. What I do is cover the back of the pendant with clear nail polish, I use 2 coats. Apply the first coat let it dry and then apply a second coat. It will last through several wearings. This also does the trick with rings, you coat the inside of the ring the same way you do the pendant. Using clear nail polish does not hurt the original finish of pendant etc…
Hope this helps!

Kali :-)

What do you think about this pendant?
Is it original?
is it worth it $$$?
is it nice?

Is the listed savings legitimate? or do they bump up the price just to lower it to make it appealing to buyers?

The pendant is lovely, i’m sure she’d be thrilled with it under the Christmas tree! I would be!
Not quite sure what you mean by original. It’s different, but in a good way, and festive too!
I think it’s worth the money. 14K white gold and diamonds ~ very nice.
It’s beautiful, good taste. Merry Christmas.

I am trying to figure out what sort of accessory to buy for my fiance (who is Japanese) for Christmas. She doesn’t wear earrings, so I am going to get her a necklace of some sort, which I know she will appreciate.

Obviously, this will be generalizing, but I have a few questions about Japanese women’s accessory preferences: Do Japanese women prefer simple jewelry or more intricate designs? White gold or Yellow gold? Do they wear stones other than diamonds (e.g. citrines, topaz, etc.)?

Any opinions from Japanese women, or those familiar with Japanese style are appreciated. Here are a few links to a variety of items as options for discussion.

Thank you very much,

Honestly it depends on the person. What if I asked you if Americans preferred simple or intricate jewelry? It’s really hard to say… even hard to generalize maybe?? I think all the necklaces are gorgeous, but the blue one stands out to me. You should pick it =P Maybe ask your fiance what her favorite colors and stones etc are. That may help you get a better idea. Congrats on getting married soon ^^
